<p>Are you ready to help MPI MI kick off another successful year? Join us for the September Symposium taking place September 8<sup>th</sup> at The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit! This event will cover 4 topics that need to be brought to the forefront of our industry:</p>

<ul><li><strong>Human Trafficking</strong><ul><li>MPI is taking advocacy a step further and has joined the fight against human trafficking—which affects an estimated 21 million people, including children, around the world—by raising awareness of this horrific tragedy.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)</strong><ul><li>As an event organizer, prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) often means bringing groups of attendees, speakers, vendors, and suppliers together from different backgrounds, identities, and experiences. But there is still work to be done when it comes to activating allies internally and externally, and planning events that enact diverse, equitable, and inclusive behaviors.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Etiquette Training</strong><ul><li>The course teaches basic table manners, greeting adults with respect, making friends, and positive body language and eye contact</li></ul></li><li><strong>Proper Attire </strong><ul><li><em>o </em>There is value in knowing how to be dress appropriately for any occasion, especially in the workplace. </li></ul></li></ul>
